Rental service includes:

• 30-amp (non-surge) GenerLink™ meter mount transfer switch
• 40-foot GenerLok™ cord set (either L14-20 or L14-30 plug end)

What is a GenerLok™ cord set?

GenerLok™ is a unique fitted connector, exclusively available for the GenerLink™ device that lets you plug your generator directly into GenerLink™ without needing a separate interconnection box. GenerLok™ easily connects to GenerLink™ and locks the power cord safely in place when GenerLink™ is being used. The cord is heavy duty and outdoor rated.

Yes, the customer must be at home for the installation appointment.

Will I have power during the installation?

Your power will be out for up to 60 minutes for a typical installation.

How long will the installation take?

The installation will take 2 to 3 hours. This includes a hands-on practice session with the contractor.
