COVID-19 Information: New Brunswickers can continue to benefit from our residential and business energy efficiency programs. The Community Outreach Program remains on hold to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Our employees and contractors follow pandemic operational plans aligned with Public Health to keep everyone safe.

Prior to an employee or contractor going inside your home or business, health screening will take place. Results of screening will determine if the appointment will proceed and the type of protective equipment to be used. We appreciate our customers’ patience and flexibility as we navigate the impacts of COVID-19 together.

25 Year Club

Employee Recognition at NB Power

NB Power's 25 Year Club came to be on June 12, 1964 as a way to celebrate our employees long-term commitment and loyalty to our company. It also serves as a great opportunity for both current and retired employees from across the province to reconnect once a year.

The annual 25 Year Club celebration also sees many members coming together to raise money for local charities as well as award the accomplishments of bright young students with the club's education awards.

25 Year Club Announcement

After careful and deliberate consideration, the 25 Year Club Executive have made the difficult decision to postpone/defer the 2020 25 Year Club of NB Power Annual General Meeting scheduled for May 22, 2020 at the Delta Fredericton.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the current Provincial and Federal restrictions we believe it is prudent to make this decision at this time rather than waiting until later.  Making this decision now avoids the financial penalties associated with our contract at the Delta and provides advanced notice to our members.

We understand that this is a difficult time for all our employees, retirees and all New Brunswickers – please continue to respect the GNB protocols for restricting in-person socialization.  Staying home saves lives, the time for New Brunswickers to act is now. It is up to each of us to take actions that will slow the spread of the virus, and give our doctors, nurses and other health-care professionals the best chance to cope with its impact. Make the behaviors that keep yourself and others safe part of your regular routine.

Let’s ensure we all do our part!

Our 25 Year Club Executive and Directors look forward to celebrating with all of you in the near future and welcoming our new members into the club as soon as reasonably possible.  Please stay safe and healthy.
