Every home is different. That’s why NB Power offers three installation package options, based on the complexity of the electrical work required. All packages include the charger, installation by a licensed electrician, electrical permit, and product and installation warranty.
Choose the package that best suits your home:
Basic Installation
Ideal for homes where the electrical panel has available capacity and no upgrades are needed.
$1,749 - $1,950
- You have a 200-Amp or larger electrical service entrance with a breaker panel that can accommodate new breakers, with sufficient capacity available; and
- Your EV Charger location is close to the electrical breaker panel (less than 25ft); and
- The route for electrical cabling to the EV Charger location is easily accessible (such as an unfinished space or minimal number of walls and/or floors to penetrate).
Standard Installation
For homes that need a new electrical panel or a panel upgrade to support charger installation.
$1,950 - $3,250
- You have a 200-Amp or larger electrical service entrance with a breaker panel that is not able to accommodate additional breakers or may require specialty breakers; or
- Your EV Charger is further from the electrical breaker panel (more than 25ft); or
- The route for electrical cabling to the EV Charger location is not easily accessible (such as a finished space and increased number of walls and/or floors to penetrate).
Complex Installation
Designed for homes where the charger needs to be installed at a great distance from the main panel, requiring extensive cable routing.
$3,250+
- Your electrical panel has fuses instead of breakers, or you have a breaker panel but there is no space for additional breakers, or your panel is at capacity (may require service entrance upgrade); or
- Your EV Charger location is a great distance from the electrical panel (more than 40ft); or
- The route for electrical cabling to the EV Charger location is not easily accessible or is complex (such as through a finished basement, outside of the dwelling, or underground).
