Community Events

We’re Invested in Our Local Communities

At NB Power, we care for our customers and are proud to support local communities and events around the province.  We are New Brunswickers through and through and keep our communities at the heart of everything we do. NB Power is proud to support community initiatives that have important cultural, social, and economic impacts across our province.

Following a review of our events and sponsorship program, NB Power is welcoming a new approach to better serve and support local communities, while allowing more visibility with the types of initiatives that we support.

Curious about what kinds of initiatives we sponsor? When reviewing event and sponsorship opportunities, we ensure alignment with NB Power’s values and objectives. The following outlines our core values and some common event and sponsorship examples that fit within each category:

  • Care for Our Customer – events/sponsorships where the primary focus is to connect with our customers and support the unique communities that make this province so special. This includes support for local United Way Centraides, Powwows and cultural events as well as events that provide education and awareness around our products, programs and services that offer benefits and value to our customers (e.g., home shows, community fairs, etc.).
  • Care for Our Future – events/sponsorships focused on the environment and the future of our company and province, such as community engagements, information sessions and town halls on upcoming projects and Environmental Impact Assessments. This category also includes events prioritizing the next generation of New Brunswickers such as STEM initiatives, career fairs, school talks, etc.
  • Safety at Heart – events/ sponsorships centred around safety. This could include touch-a-truck events, fire safety week events, WorkSafe conference, etc.

If this sounds like your community initiative click here to send for consideration.
