MEDIA ADVISORY - Technical briefing and demonstration for nuclear emergency exercise

LEPREAU: Friday, Sept. 28 – 10:00 a.m.

As part of a full-scale nuclear emergency exercise planned for October 3 and 4, a technical briefing and demonstration will take place at 10:00 am on September 28, at the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station, Highway 790, Lepreau, NB.

Media representatives are invited to attend as an opportunity to learn more about the exercise and to capture visual content that will not be available to them during the actual exercise.

Attending media are required to bring a piece of government issued picture ID and are asked to arrive no later than 09:45 am to allow for clearing of security procedures.

Representatives from NB Power and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission will participate.
